Mikel Onandia

Mikel Onandia is a professor at the Department of Art and Music History at the UPV / EHU. He has a degree in Philosophy and a degree and a PhD in Art History (UPV / EHU). He has completed the postgraduate analysis of Contemporary Art (Universitat de Barcelona) and the master Conservation and Exhibition of Contemporary Art (UPV / EHU) and has obtained different mentions and scholarships, such as the Extraordinary End of Degree Award in the degree of Art History and the Bilbao Museum of Fine Arts Research Grant – BBK Foundation 2010-11. Likewise, he has worked as an art critic in different media and has published different articles and critical texts for catalogs and art publications. Currently he combines teaching and curating exhibitions with research, mainly around modern and contemporary art and artistic collecting.
